REVEALED: MORE ON FADA U' TURN'S DEATH.
PETER OKOYE GIVES HIS APPRECIATION PERSONALLY
HOW GOOD ARE NIGERIAN WOMEN IN BED? -DR. BIODUN OGUNGBO
Dear BAB readers, i came accross this and would want you to have an insight of it aswell. How good is that your 9ja girlfriend on bed?
It has been said that
the most important things to the Nigerian man are sex, food and defecation.
But, not necessarily in this order. They also say that the way to the heart of
a man is through his stomach. Feed him and you can have your way with him.
Perhaps this explains the big stomachs seen in many of our men, especially
those in the corridors of power. They are being fed to death! I wonder why the
women then complain; after feeding the man too much, he cannot do much more
than snore.
Anyway, it is also
said that an emotional connection, and perhaps good sex, leads to the heart of women.
This of course, is not necessarily the same for the Nigerian woman. Pray then,
what is the way to the heart of a Nigerian woman? Is it a blackberry smart
phone, trip to Dubai or a day out shopping at Garki market in Abuja? Further,
is the expense worth it?
I wrote earlier that
perhaps the lack of good sex was driving the Nigerian woman to fat. Being fat
and immovable in bed reduces ‘bedmatic’ exercises and prevents many men from
actually getting to the ‘Promise Land’. After the huge reception to the erstwhile
article, `How good are Nigerian men in bed’, it seems worthwhile and
adventurous to ask a similar question regarding women. So here for your
pleasure or perversion is the article.
How good are Nigerian
women in bed?
Cinderella
The most exciting time
to toast a Nigerian woman is at the numerous ‘owanmbe’ parties: weddings,
birthdays and funerals. Fully made up and resplendent in wonderful attires, the
women look like a million dollars. Whether they deliver up to a million Naira
later, the day after, may be a Cinderella story. Beauty will definitely be in
the eye of the beholder.
Backward in coming
forward
Generally, Nigerian
women are not known for sultry, flirty moves and attitudes. The women are also
not proactive in communicating their interests. Many women therefore spend more
time alone waiting to be asked out. This is perhaps economics at play. The
poverty mentality pervades the terrain so much that many women are reliant on
the man for dates and have little initiative for making the first move. They
therefore put up fake facades and hide their feelings.
Someone said most
women in Nigeria have never known their father’s with one woman all his
lifetime and this may leave deep feminine insecurities. We have to note that a
woman’s knowledge and understanding of her own body, her looks, feel and lots
more, determines a lot about how much a man will want her. A confident woman,
who knows what she wants, and asks for it, is definitely in the market for a
good husband.
Tony (Mr. Anonymous to
you!) had a South African woman who asked him out on a date. On the second
date, she asked, “So, what are you planning to do to me? Are you going to
ravish my body?” He was shocked. You mean no pretending? No fake facades?
Goodness, he said he could not wait to marry her. Could you imagine how much
fun and excitement such a wife would bring into your life? Don’t get me
started!
Bring your own
protection
Nigerian women do not
buy their own protection (for example, condoms), relying heavily on the men to
protect their welfare. They also do not actively use other protection such as
pills and injections to prevent pregnancy. Part of the protection also includes
personal hygiene. Good personal hygiene includes a bath, trim nails and a clean
shave (including the legs and the private parts). Many women do not shave.
Saying that, some men do like women with hairy spider legs!
A box of chocolates
It is said that the
Nigerian woman has the body of a goddess compared to women of other nations.
They have real booties, full hips and breasts that give the illusion of the
hanging Gardens of Babylon. There is no full blooded man that wouldn’t harbour
naughty thoughts of wanton pleasures when you see the body of a Nigerian woman.
Websites and authors
on the Internet suggest that the Nigerian woman can do anything you want in
bed. Talk of a sex machine under the sheets – that’s the Nigerian woman for
you. This makes it the more interesting because as long as a man has the energy
and skills to try new things, the woman is ready. Some writers say that they
are in high demand in foreign countries. I suppose it will take a real
connoisseur to make definitive statements on this issue. Perhaps we could start
a research project!
Locally, research for
this article suggests that the Calabar woman may be the most exciting Nigerian
woman in bed. That they are taught ‘blue, black, red thread’ tricks of waist
movements appear to help enhance their sexual prowess. Anecdotal evidence
suggests that the rate of divorce is low among people in Cross Rivers and Akwa
Ibom States. The fact that they keep clean house, cook great food are of course
added bonuses for the discerning man.
I am sure other tribes
in Nigeria have their own strengths and weaknesses and particularly ways to
satisfy their men folk. Please write in as we thrash out this article.
In conclusion
The Nigerian woman
appears to be a shy and reluctant partner initially, but is actually a box of
chocolates. You just never know what you might get. However, it’s fun finding
out what flavour and what exquisite taste.
Bon appétit!

MEET THE YOUNGEST SPECIAL ASSISTANT IN NIGERIA - ADEOLU OYEBODE
Adeola Adeyemo of Todays' Telegraph introduces the youngest special assistant in Nigeria- Adeolu Oyebode
The dream of many young Nigerians is to make a good impact and contribute their quota to the development of their immediate society. For 26-year-old Adeolu Oyebode, he has just found the right channel to achieve those dreams following his recent appointment as the youngest person to hold the office of a Special Assistant to a state governor in Nigeria.
His appointment was announced last week by the office of Governor Kayode Fayemi of Ekiti State, giving Mr Oyebode the capacity to serve as the Special Assistant to the Ekiti State Governor on Students’ Matters.
But his appointment didn’t just come overnight, Mr Oyebode has paid his dues. He has been involved in student unionism since 2007 and served as the Chairman National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) Joint Campus Committee of Ondo and Ekiti States between 2008 and 2010. The graduate of Biochemistry from the Ekiti State University is also the Country Director of Programmes and Planning of the International Youth Congress (Nigeria Charter) incorporated in the USA.
Speaking on his journey to the creation of the office of Special Assistant on Students’ Matters, Mr Oyebode said: “the Students of Ekiti State had been demanding for the office even before I was opportuned to serve them as Chairman of NANS Joint Campus Committee of Ondo and Ekiti States. I remembered that I was one of those who also clamoured for the creation of this office, so as to grant the opportunity for the voice of the students to be heard. And here we are today, it has been achieved.”
Mr Oyebode’s first personal encounter with Governor Fayemi was in 2007 at a public lecture that was held at the University of Ado Ekiti (now Ekiti State University) where human rights activist and lawyer, Femi Falana, was given an award by the students.
“It was during the event that Dr Kayode Fayemi came in convoy of Mr Femi Falana and also to receive the platinum award on behalf of his deputy governorship candidate,” he recalled. “That was the first time I would ever have an eye-to-eye contact and talk with him, and this was before he became the Ekiti State governor.”
He described Governor Fayemi as “a mentor from afar” adding that they have both maintained a relationship with mutual regards and respect of individual values and virtues. “Dr Fayemi, as governor, hasn’t changed from his old self to the best of my knowledge; he is a person who doesn’t relate with you based on age but what you have upstairs and how you can affect the society,” he said.
Criteria for appointment
The students had an interactive parley with the governor, where they reminded him that they needed to create the office of Special Assistant on Students’ Matters. The governor asked them to present the names of three people whom they could vouch for. Mr Oyebode’s name was submitted along with two other past and present student leaders.
“I don’t know the yardstick that Mr Governor must have used to prefer me because we are all qualified based on our academic basics and experiences in students’ movement,” he said. “Three of us were nominated by the students’ body in Ekiti State, comprising of the NANS Joint Campus Committee, the Federation of Ekiti State Students’ Union (FESSU) and the Presidents of all the Students’ Unions in the 16 local governments. The nominees were Adeoye Aribasoye, Seyi Ibiloye and me.
Adeoye was the President of the EKSU Students’ Union and former President of the Faculty of Law Students of EKSU; Oluwaseyi was a former President of the Ekiti State College of Education Ikere and former Secretary of NANS Joint Campus Committee in Ekiti State; while I was simply a former Chairman of NANS Joint Campus Committee in Ondo/Ekiti States. We all passed the SSS screening and to the glory of God, we were all medically fit and intellectually balanced. The governor must have got his reasons to have preferred me.”
Call of duty
As the Special Adviser to the Ekiti State Government on Students Matters, Mr Oyebode’s primary assignment is to serve as a link between the governor and the students’ constituency. “It is also part of my duty that I should raise suggestive ideas and policies that can bring the dividends of democracy to the rank and file of Ekiti State Students,” he added.
During his tenure, he hopes to foster harmonious relationship between the government and the students’ community; restore democratically elected students’ unionism to Ekiti State University and College of Education Ikere and develop the intellectual capacity of students and students’ leaders via workshops and leadership summits.
Speaking on how his new status has affected his relationship with his peers, he said: “I am a people person. I cannot but appreciate the fact that my new status has created better opportunities for me to meet with people of my generation better than I could have reached them. I know that some might find it difficult to understand this, because there is always this kind of impression that when you are in government, people will naturally want to distance themselves from you. But for me, I have been receiving calls, text messages and emails from everyone and I’m happy about that.”
Prior to his appointment, Mr Oyebode was a practising journalist, writing for Fountain Newsbreakers, a widely circulated community paper in Ekiti State.
LETTER FROM A BAB READER
LOL!!! Please here is a letter from a BAB reader.
I'm a twenty six yrs old lady.....not desperate for marriage, career minded, admirable selling points(**winks**), sexy as hell(believe me,since I turned 18,only one man has failed to take notice of me.And he was blind!).I'm a lot of woman. I'm confident, cute, schooled and a great lover.
Well there you read everything I am but let me tell you what am not. I'm not going to tolerate people writing craps about me especially from some miseducated individual especially women who can't keep a man after catching him.
My bad........I really don't like dating single men. No matter how handsome, charming and even suave. I just don't get attracted to single men. I don't just get attracted to "just" married man. You really need to have a great deal of confidence in yourself and carrier,an infectious smile wil do and you've got to be SUCCESSFULLY Married. Divorce or separated won't do because its a testimony of failure and I will not mingle with a failure. I guess am not writing for saints.
You would start wondering why on earth would a lady want another woman's property huh? Oh yeah! Its simply because I don't want a demand on my time and would never demand his because I prefer to always be left with my thoughts and just successful married man can help you achieve that. I would see who ever because its convenient for me. So if I chose you to be HIM, be glad because am a better lover than the home woman.
I enjoy the sex. We don't make love because we have to but because we can't keep our hands of each other. I'm passionate about him like he is about me.....wait a minute(**eyerolling**) why shouldn't he? Of course he's more passionate about me because I don't get cranky about the menstrual shits,I never forget to make my nails, shave the hairs of my legs (**tongue out**) and I always keep a smile on my face for him.......so why shouldn't spend so much time with me? I used to have two of such men in my life but I must say,it aint easy juggling two men....but the truth is I loved them equally(**straight face**). I feel so sorry when Ade begs me not to see anybody asides him or when I ask him to leave thati want to sleep and he tells me he isn't ready to face the Magret Thatcher at home.....I feel so sorry for him because without me, his marriage would have been in shambles.
Then there's Yomi the best lover of all times. My body responds to the sight of him. You need to see the way he loves my body, nurtures it,anticipate my every need and he even calls when I have my finger on the dial for him. He knows how to melt away my worries as if by magic and gives me the strength to face each new week.
Anyway,my motive for writing this is that I want some women to sit tight and be a better lover to their men and stop labelling your husband's mistress as cheap after all this is Africa where men are entitled to their polygamous nature.
And the good news is.......I'm quitting both relationships today because I want to try a single guy. I really want to know what its like to date a single guy and would expect them to prove me wrong about my negative opinions towards them but I hope am not heading towards disaster.
I simply want a free life but love what I will work hard to keep. If I can't get some appreciation's for keeping some marriages intact then ask me why I won't be able to keep mine. Single guys...........apply now while am not taking.
Goodluck!!!!!
So BAB readers what are you still waiting for? Get in rtouch if you are interested.#gbam
NEWS: CHALLENGES FACING NIGERIAN TRADERS IN GHANA.
Prince Ademola Ajiboye a 45yrs old pharmacist, a presiding pastor of The First Baptist Church Kumasi, a visionary entrepreneur, a degree holder in Banking and Finance at the University of Lagos Nigeria and a Secretary to the All Nigerians Community who owns a pharmacy store at the suburb area of Roman Hill in Asawase Constituency of the Ashanti Region of Ghana spoke with The Nigerian Voice Magazine today on the challenges facing the Nigerian traders in Ghana.
According to him, as the secretary to the All Nigerian Community, he explained that they got so many complains recently from their colleagues especially Igbo tribes who have come to invest into the country and are into selling of spare parts.
Most of them having dominated that trade and being a member of The All Nigerian Community complained that they are made to pay a gargantuan amount of money and this they see as a calculated idea to chase them out of the trade market.
He suggested that with regards to those who are manufacturing and wholesalers, the Government can recommend such amount but not to the petty traders like the retailers.
He however emphasized that the cause of the problem is the fact that Nigerians are very hardworking and less success should not be expected of them and most Ghanaians tends to envy the ability of Nigerians in trade.
He re-emphasized that they have been doing their best to make sure the Ghana Government becomes considerate to them on the issue as far as ECOWAS Treaty is concerned but to him, its seems the ECOWAS Treaty has only just been a name of no reality due to the fact that when Nigerian traders tends to have a problem with the locals who are equally into the same trade, it's always a rough deal because the locals always liaison with these Government controlling bodies and mounting pressure on the Nigerians.
He hinted that the Nigerian High Commission has been notified about the issued and has been to Kumasi twice to address the issue which has gotten to a level that the Ghanaians are no longer accommodating as they used to be.
He also expressed worries that even the former Nigerian Ambassador to Ghana in person of Senator Musiliu Obanikoro addressed the issue but it's still not yielding a positive result.
He however pleaded with the Nigerian Government not to relent on this issue and help find a lasting solution because there are so many Ghanaian traders in Nigeria as well and much is not expected of them and he concluded that if only the Ghana Government understands the objectives of the AU and ECOWAS then they should learn to accommodate each other.

SEX SLAVERY: The Growing Trade Of Nigerian Teenage Girls In Ghana.
It's shameful and absolutely degrading that Nigerian girls now go to Ghana for prostitution. This might actually be no news if you have visited Senegal, Gambia, Mali, Bourkina-Faso, Morocco, Algeria, Libya, and all Western Sahara Countries, you will cry for our dear nation Nigeria! Nigerian girls are not only brought into Ghana but also to Europe, abusing their hope of a better life.
The Nigerian Voice Magazine learnt that a group of Nigerian sex traders ship these girls off to Ghana where they are linked with prominent Ghanaians for the purpose of prostitution in exchange for money. All over the world sex business is lucrative- not for the girls, but for those who bring them into that line of business, those who "protect" them are referred to as “promoters" or "agents" and "madams" instead of been simply addressed as pimps or human traffickers.
The madams or agents as they are referred to bring these girls from Nigeria without telling most of them the reason they are brought to Ghana, once they are there and realize what they have to do,it's too late! The most sympathetic part is that these girls are asked to pay exuberant prices ranging from Ghc2500 to Ghc 4000 ($1600-$2500) depending on which part of Nigeria they are from, their skin colour and body shape.
According to one of the girls we spoke to by the name Sharon, we learned she was asked to pay the sum of Ghc3500 ($2000) based on the distance her agent travelled to bring her to Ghana. You will find these ladies at Tasco Guest House in Adum, a suburb area of Kumasi in the Ashanti Region of Ghana, Some of the young ones newly brought in are between the ages of 14-17yrs and are taken to a place called Plaza hotel at Dichemso by 6pm everyday to hustle and return to their hotel by 12am, while some go to "the street" like they fondly call it at Ahodwo road in kumasi where we have most night clubs to do their business. They also have their headquarters at Adum about 5min walk from their guest house. The price paid by guys to have sex with these girls varies and solely depends on where they have the agreement. The girls on street charge Ghc20-Ghc50 ($12-$30) for short time sex and Ghc50-Ghc100 ($30-$65) for the whole night, while the ones at the Plaza hotel charge Ghc5-Ghc10 ($4-$7) and mostly don't go over night because they are completely exhausted. The ones at Adum the headquarters also charge the same with the plaza girls, though they take customers over night and charge according to the status of the customer.
These girls conditions are really disheartening considering what they are exposed to; most of them use almost seven months to pay back the money. Even at that, when they request to go back to Nigeria they are made to swear to different kind of oaths that will keep them in Ghana and in the trade.
Poverty and desperation for financial success amongst some Nigerians have led them into prostitution and, the trade of innocent young bright Nigerian girls. Nigeria, a country which is supposed be referred to as the pride of Africa is losing under aged girls who are the future of the country to prostitution in Ghana our next door neighbor not to talk about Overseas.
The Nigerian governments have failed the Nigerian youths and the citizens at large, I have time without number tried to imagine what the future holds for our young ones who should be in school studying hard to contribute to the nation's development in the future, instead have decided to go after quick money and AIDS! I know every reader might be pointing fingers and saying all kind of things, but seriously speaking this is not a time to point fingers but to do something about it. Most of these ladies are educated but, cannot find jobs or anybody to help them. Majority of them do not enjoy being sex workers. We should have a look at the circumstances which have led these girls into prostitution and have forced them to remain in the trade.
I vividly remember how Ghanaians were flocking into Nigeria in the 1980's in search of greener prospects and better living standard. The Ghana must go bags incidents still lingers in my mind. Amazingly 30 years later, Nigerian's; both the rich, poor and our industries are rushing to the same Ghana and funny enough they are been welcomed with a new kind of bags "The Nigeria must come Bags".
Nigeria!!! What a country, blessed but shallow deep in poverty. It simply shows our past and present leaders have failed us.
Conclusively, it is very important for the government of Nigeria most especially the diplomatic mission in Ghana to come to their aid, most of these girls are under aged who can still make good use of their life and should not be caught up in such acts.

POPULAR MUSICIAN FATHER U' TURN DIES @ 36
The dancehall artiste who rose from poverty as an orphan, to build a successful and inspiring career as a songwriter, recording artiste, TV presenter and performer, passed on in Lagos today, following a brief illness. He was 36 years old. May his soul rest in peace...Amen. Read more about him after the cut...
The late U Turn was from Kabba-Bunu in Kogi State where he first tried his hands on entertainment, working as a radio and TV presenter.
He had a brief stint at NTA in Lagos, after relocating here, before signing a deal with Ultima Records which released his early albums.
He was a little boy, with braids and a charming personality. And his signature intro 'Apoola Berekete' was far beyond his stature. But he got the industry's attention and got a leg in the door before long. After years of club tours and free gigs, he got his first break when he was signed to one of the biggest record labels of the time, Ultima Records.
Ultima engaged Nelson Brown to work on his first album which proved to be a huge success.
The hits 'African Culture' and 'Shakara' threw him into national limelight, instantly putting him in the league of bonafide ghetto stars like Daddy Showkey and Daddy Fresh.
He espoused Okokomaiko where he resided, with many songs dedicated to the Lagos outskirt.
His second album 'Padlock Ur Mouth' produced the smash hit 'Yetunde' a collaboration with Pasuma Wonder.
With dozens of awards confirming his exploits, including multiple decoration by Awards for Musical Excellence in Nigeria (AMEN), Youths Awards for Excellence in Music (YAFEM), amongst many others, U Turn lead a generation of alternative dancehall cats by the hands. And in Okokomaiko where he spent the last two decades of his life, he was like a king. His success encouraged many children in the area to embrace music, and he supported many of them.
Although his later years were troubled by label issues with Bayowa Music, and career challenges that came with unsuccessful albums, Father U Turn remained dedicated to his art - recording endlessly and refusing to let go of his passion and dedication to reggae/dancehall. He also vehemently refused to relocate from Okokomaiko, despite constant pleas from friends and family.
He died in a hospital around Okokomaiko today, after suffering a liver related illness. A family member confirmed he had been in and out of hospital for many weeks. He had been on admission at the last hospital for 10 days before he passed on.
He is survived by his siblings, wife Ajimoh and five children.
